Guests will be able to enjoy Keeler’s current exhibit, on display until August 28th, in the ballroom. He will be painting Roger in the Mansion’s front parlor, right under the portrait of the original owner of the house, Sherman David Phelps. Guests can explore the first floor of the mansion, which will have several of Keeler’s larger paintings on display.

The demo is free and open to the public, 6-9PM, and is offered as part of Binghamton’s First Friday, a monthly art walk hosted by the Broome County Arts Council.

 

Brian Keeler's special exhibition at the Phelps Mansion Museum in Binghamton, NY opened Saturday, July 11 and continues through the August 28 closing reception from 6-8 pm.

 

Included are recent paintings of the Susquehanna River and depictions of Victorian architecture, many with the distinctive mansard roofs and Second Empire style of details. Brian has been painting these houses for years in Ithaca, New York, Pennsylvania and New England.
